With a frenzy of followers, Bollywood’s leading stars receive recognition from Anhoki Magazine’s 4th Annual Awards Gala as the nominations are announced honoring the best South Asian entertainers.
Among the list of “Sexy and Successful” honorees, who will also be featured in Anhoki’s 7th Anniversary Collector’s Edition issue, Bollywood names such as Nigel Barker, photographer and American’s Next Top Model judge, as well as hit singer Jay Sean will be recognized at the Feb. 5 gala.
The ceremony held at Toronto’s Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, was designed to shed light on South Asia’s finest businessmen, entertainers, and fashion icons.
“We’re thrilled to be featuring the kinds of dynamic, world-changing people that inspire not only those within our culture, but society in general. Today, after seven years of ANOKHI, I realize that we’ve created a movement with a history that has a very positive and relevant future. Here’s to the next seven years and counting,” founder of the Anokhi Media Corporation Raj Girn explained.
Other honorees include Rohan Oza, Chief Marketing Officer of Glaceau, Faran Tahir, who starred in Iron Man and Star Trek, Hitha Prabhakar, a retail analyst and fashion expert, and Pooja Kumar of Bollywood Hero.
